What system to choose ?

Hi all,

will start to build my new EF 88'' Yak. i will use all Hitec 5955 inside and 2 fromeco battery.
I still have to choose the Power expander system to install in, but don't really know what to choose between the possible choice :

1) Smart-Fly PowerSystem Sport Plus

2) PowerExpander Sport Plus + Superreg

I see the both are not using dean's conectors, is this a problem for driving 5 Hitec 5955 current ?

Hi Michel,
I would suggest you use the PowerSystem Sport Plus. For this size plane, even with high-torque servos, this is the best choice. With 5 servos, 2 standard R/C connectors can handle the load. The biggest problem with standard connectors is the voltage drop across them at higher currents. With 2 connectors on the PowerSystem Sport Plus it can handle 6 amps continuously and that is enough for 5 high-torque servos. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
