I just purchased the Smart Fly PE Sport. I installed it in the plane tonight and soldered deans plugs onto my fromeco regs and hooked them to the PE plugs (yes + and - are correct) I get no power to the servos. The lights on the board are on. Im using a JR 649 Receiver I read this thread: Power expander sport Am i correct in this: I do NOT plug anything into the battery port on the JR receiver? I just plug the power leads on the left side into the throttle port, then the other power leads into the last aux? |

Yeah, i checked that too. They actually wont plug in the opposite way. I bypassed the PE and just hooked up everything like i have before just to make sure the signal wire was up. Everything worked then. Im sure its something im doing wrong.

Hi wttiger42, I answered on the other forum also. The only thing I can think of is that the servo plugs are not oriented correctly. Make sure the orange wire is to the inside of the unit near the notch on the servo plug guide. There is really hardly anything that can go wrong on this. |

Try plugging one servo into the receiver while everything is still powered by the PE. The signal line on your servo extentions should all be plugged in towards the rx.

Im gonna check that out as soon as i get off work. It sucks being stuck here all day trying to troubleshoot a problem and when you might have the solution you have to wait all day to try it out. Thanks for the help! |

Yeah This is because the signal pin in the battery port in your JR receiver is used for the DSC Connection.
