I am setting up a 100cc plane with EQ6 there are 4 aileron servos two on each wing. Should I use a short extension between the EQ6 and the aileron servo leads. Seams to me that pluging the servo leads into the EQ6 every time you take the wings on and off would be hard on the EQ6 leading to something breaking. How do other people do it?

i plug mine in each time. i am just very careful as to not jar anything loose in the process. i have often thought of going with short (6") or so extensions so i could just unplug those but i haven't ever actually done that... either way should be fine. i like to keep my extensions and connections to a minimum where ever possible.

I'm a first time PE user a SF-EQ10 and I used short extensions for my ron servos...not only for reasons already given but in my infinate ignorance of the servo programming (matching) system, I figured since I was programming Servo A (inboard on my application) then matching Servo B (outboard); it might be a good idea to plug them into the same ports every time so as not to mix up the programming...now is that stupid or does it make sense?

I use a Multiplex connector to plug the wing into the fuse. It is simple and you dont have to worry about plugging the servos into the wrong channel. This can be purchased from Desert Aircraft. MPX_ConnectorSet.jpg

I plug them straight in. I have three servos on each aileron, and have a piece of tape with "A", "B", and "C" on the servo wires going to the corresponding servos. Easy.

Which is better for high current the PE Pro, EQ10, or the EQ6 ??? I'm running Fromeco Iron Corps Extreme A123's for batts, two of them, and don't really need the regulator in the EQ6 but need the servo equalizer capability on a couple of channels. Should I just go with the PE Pro and a couple of matchboxes or one of the EQ's ???
