Hi, there are 2 regulators on the EQ6. One non-adjustable 5 volt regulator for the receiver and one adjustable regulator for the servos. Shorting the pins adjusts the servo supply voltage as measured at a servo channel. Hope this helps.

Don is correct.

The variable voltage is only for the servo outlet pins. The receiver has a fixed voltage supply of 5 volts. That supply is also current limited in so much as you should not be running a lot of servos directly off the Rx. technically there is no need to run any servos off the Rx directly. A choke servo or a throttle servo is as much as its really designed to handle.

Hope this helps mate.
