hi guys, trying to setup a new EQ6 for a buddy, for some reason I cant increase the RX voltage output by shorting the pins....not sure whats goin on.....using fromeco LiOn 2600 batts...any ideas

Hi, there are 2 regulators on the EQ6. One non-adjustable 5 volt regulator for the receiver and one adjustable regulator for the servos. Shorting the pins adjusts the servo supply voltage as measured at a servo channel. Hope this helps.

if you are having any issues whatsoever with a smartfly product, just call bob at smartfly and he'll walk you thru the necessary steps to accomplish what you need. he is a customer service icon! good luck!

Don is correct. The variable voltage is only for the servo outlet pins. The receiver has a fixed voltage supply of 5 volts. That supply is also current limited in so much as you should not be running a lot of servos directly off the Rx. technically there is no need to run any servos off the Rx directly. A choke servo or a throttle servo is as much as its really designed to handle. Hope this helps mate. |
