Default Mounting a JR 921 rec. on power expander

I am using a SF power expander sport, and when mounting the 921 receiver is it necessary to use the optional mount that you can purchase from SF that gets it up off the board, or it is ok just to mount it like you normally would a regular rec.? Anyone have any pics of their installs, if so it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have tested it both ways and it did not matter on the Data test.

I just used a chunk of pink foam board (1-1/4" thk) and a thin piece of silicon (?) foam (white Dubro stuff) to get my receiver up off the SF board. Secured it in place with a velcro strap.

This gets the receiver antennae wires up and away from the servo wires. Just mount it flat. I tried mounting on an angled piece of foam and it always vibrated loose.

I get excellent reception with two satellites in a composite plane.
