| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() ![]() | http://www.hobby-lobby.com/connectors.htm Go down the page and look for speed 400 connector. I dont see the safety clip on that page but they come in black. My plane is 1000 mile away tonight so no pics of the way I set up the plug until I get there on Saturday. Kiwi

are those aerials at 90 degrees to each other? hard to tell in the photo - the one on the left could be pointing up a bit.

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() ![]() | Doc, I'm far from my toy at the moment but help me clarify this. Are they saying that one antenna should be vertical and the other horizontal. What I mean by that is each rx has two antenna so to speak so I bend the wire on the right side of the Rx up to 90 degrees and the left one i leave at 270 degrees or flat so to speak. Then with the small satelitte antenna I do the same. I was going to mount it down the side of the frame so it was at 90 degrees to the receiver antenna. I did not understand or read the book well enough either, I must admit, to see where that was what they were hinting at regarding antenna placement. Some if you have it setup post a photo of those tiny little wires to make it clear whats the best recommended antenna setup please. Kiwi

| DKjens ![]() | I think those Graupner/Multiplex plugs are a PITA to solder on. I like to use 4 pin Mini Deans connectors for two servos (+ and - together on two pins, signals on other two), or a 3 pin Mini Deans for the signals and a Full Size Deans for the power on three servos. The Mini Deans and the Full Size Deans give an extremely positive connections and would not come apart in the air unless the wing or stab departed the air frame.
