I am very interested in this product. Thanks for the heads up from the ones that are truly in the know.

Is there any way to get our names on an email list to preorder when they are due to be released? I would like to be able to give one a go ina 40% plane I have on the table.

Thanks in advance.

Guys,

To add to what Fernando said above I have been flying the 260 lots in the last few weeks and the EQ10 is by far and away the best power board option I have ever used and thats a fair statement given I have used nearly all of them. Emcotec is the only one I think I have not tried.

The advantages with these units are many,
1. 10 fully adjustable channels, (end points, neutral etc)
2. Reverse polarity and short circuit protection.
3. Weight. Nothing else in this class comes even close.
4. Easy to install and program. You dont need an additional programming cable or anything with this setup, its all on the board. No laptop, no controller.
5. Accuracy or very fine steps in when setting up ganged servos. Ok harder to explain but compared to my other boards the steps on the servo with each click of a button are so fine you can hardly see the servo arm move. Plus the fact that when you setup ganged servos you only setup off the master servo, the other servos in the chain go into float while to set each individual one up. That gets rid of any compound errors that can occur if all your servos are driven at the same time while you setup your neutrals and end points.

Last but not least it takes a lot of the hard work away from your radio programming. Case in study. I had to change out the RX for the first flight as Fernando set the plane up with his radio and frequency. All I had to do was set all the values in my radio to 100% and swap the Rx over. Bingo it was done, no setting up anything else. Then of course program in my dual rates and expo and ten minutes later we were flying. Needless to say there was and is a lot of fine tuning to do on the transmitter but the mechanics of the system is all on board your plane.

Now I have swapped out the Rx again for the SPEKTRUM system and it was a walk in the park. All I need to do is play with my dual rates , expo and differencial and its done.

Gents I am a very open minded guy when it comes to this hobby but I promise you that this is the best power management system I have ever used. Its clean, simple and honest. And the price is right. What else could you ever ask for.

I am not bagging any of the other systems here because they all work and thats a fact but they dont hold a candle to the EQ10 for overall functionality.

10 out of 10.

Here is a photo of the EQ10 installed and ready to run. This has my SPEKTRUM Rx on it so there are a few too many wires but with a standard 9 or ten channel Rx this is one very neat setup.

Adrian,

I don't see them on the Smart-Fly web site. I would really like to know what the price is.

Does anyone know - If you have 3 outputs per channel, are the individual channel ouputs adjustable for center and end point adjustments?

the street price is $249

and the adjustibility is for each servo or individual outputs and it is for centre and end points BUT the whole adjustment range is adjustable in tiny increments!!!!!!!!! marvelous!!!

BDSBOB,

All the channels have at least three outlets from memeory, some have four. I'm in my office and have no way to confirm that but I will be back home Saturday and get a close up shot of the beast.
Each individual outlet on each channel is fully adjustable.

You will not be disapointed with this unit I promise.

Channels 4 and 6 have the 4 ports. I test flew the first production unit on Saturday and it went flawless. I even flew it with the DX-7 radio, the little receiver is easy to mount.

The equalizer unit is setup at a 4096 resolution. The individual equalizers are the same setup.

Kiwi...Nice setup. I noticed that the aileron servo wires are attached to the fuselage sides. Is there a mount you are using? Got any close up pictures?

Thanks
