New Equalizer 10 Announced

Guys and Gals,

Once again my good Friend and RC Einstein has done it again. After a good deal of time in the skunk shop Smart-Fly have developed a fully fledged 10 channel, fully adjustable power expander.

It is a real step ahead with a lot of new features you just wont find any place else. It can run on LiPo's or LiOn's without the need for regulators so if you want the ultimate grunt from your HITEC 5995 servos then this babies right up your alley. All ten channels are adjustable for neutral and end points. All the channels are RF filtered so there is no feedback from the servos to your receiver. The twin battery inputs are able to shut down one pack if there is a short circuit so you fly home on a good pack without the other draining the other.

Guys theres a ton of features and I will try to share these with you tonight. But in the time being heres some pictures. I will be putting this through the wringer this week and fitting it in the new 260 so stay tuned guys.

Its the proto type so is still a few days off going public but yes it gets rid of matchboxes for ever.

Here's some details to keep you thinking.

Weight 2.6 oz 74g
Compact 4 x 3 footprint
Supports end loading and top loading receivers
Filtered 5 volt feed to the receiver
1 amp regulated power supply to the receiver
Long servo lead matching
LED indicators to show connected channels
Fully buffered outputs on ALL channels.
Full RF filtering of all signals both coming in and out of the unit.
High current DEANS connectors
Optional fail safe switch to the board so no need for extra switches.
Compatible with 8.4 volt direct feed so if you have 8 volt servos no need for regs.
Smart sense power connections. I will explain this a little further down the track.

But like everything I have tested so far from Smart-Fly it passes with excellent results. I dont forsee any issues at all coming with this package.

Guys I dont have the price and expect Smart-Fly have not yet set it but Vic I think your on the money son.

I'm sure Robert will be in here to straighten me up if I get anything out of whack and I suspect he will let the price thing out of the bag once we know there are no bugs or gremlins to deal with.
