“Wolverine switches must have faceplate fasteners trimmed”
Applies to Wolverine switches manufactured in January and February, 2007, only.

The provided fasteners for putting the faceplate onto the aircraft are too long. This prevents proper fit of the faceplate. If the over-length fasteners are torqued into the circuit board, a short circuit could result.

The provided fasteners must be clipped shorter to both allow the faceplate to fit properly, and also prevent possible damage from a short. Please see the two pictures for where to clip the fasteners.

FROMECO is addressing this problem by writing this bulletin, contacting all affected Wolverine customers by both e-mail and telephone, by modifying future circuit boards, and by providing shorter fasteners for all future orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
