Help! Relion Battery problem

I just sent an email to fromeco regaurding a problem that I had with one of my 2600mah relion battery's today.

Here is a copy of that email.

Hi.
I purchased 3 brand new Relion 2600mah batteries around the middle of fall 2007. I finally got them into my plane and flew them about 2 weeks ago without any problems. I took it out again today and put two flights on it. After the Second flight, I hooked my 8 ball up to the batteries to see how they were. One of my Rx batteries failed to turn on the 8 ball. I tried to hook it up to a charger to see if it had any power left in it, and the charger read 4.8 volts. I brought the battery home and a few hours later I decided to hook it up to the 8 ball again and this time it worked fine and read a voltage of 8.30 volts under no load.
It was a little chilly today (about 40-45 degerees), so I thought maybe the cold had something to do with it.
I left the battery outside for about 30 minutes to get it cold and then again hooked it up to the 8 ball. It still worked fine. Then all of a sudden the tester shut off. I tapped the battery on my hand and the tester turned back on again. Tapped another time and it shut off.
I don't know if there's a bad cell of if there is a bad weld on the pack. All I do know is that I've been using your batteries exclusively in all my planes and never had a problem with any of them until today.
Is there anything that I can do about this battery? It's practically new, but I've had it for a while now.
Let me know what you think. I can send it in for inspection and a possible repair if needed.
Take Care,
Chris

Has anyone else had this kind of problem? Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,

Chris

Are you sure that it is the battery and not the connection/wire to the 8 ball?

I'm positive. It wouldn't even power up the Rx. Besides, the 8 ball works fine with all the other batteries.

Hi Chris,

Already sent you an e-mail back channel. We will get it replaced and see if we can't figure out what is wrong with the pack.

I had the computers down all day yesterday so I didn't see your e-mail till this morning.
