Hey guys. I was wondering what the preferred method of mounting your fromeco batteries is. Until lately, I've used a piece of foam rubber under the battery with either velcro straps or nylon wire ties to hold it in place. Is that a good way to mount them? I've started to wonder if wrapping the completely in the foam would be better. Will haveing the batteries wrapped this way have any negetive effects on the batteries? I know this seems like a stupid question, but I figured I would ask. Thanks, Chris |

Shouldn't hurt it at all! In my opinion a velcro strap looks great and it makes it look clean. Good Luck! No question is a stupid question on the FG community site.

Ive mounted mine both ways. As long as there is foam between the battery and the mounting place you should be good to go. Just make sure they aren't tied so tight that you negate the purpose of the foam. |

velcro straps transmit less vibration than wire ties, otherwise no difference I mount batteries with Velcro on them instead of foam, and then velcro them down typically.
