Thanks for the note... this seems to be the most obvious problem, i.e the Triton bench charger has a fixed 12 Volt power supply, but the Triton2 field charger runs off of a battery. I thought that the battery was properly charged, but I may be fooling myself. I will be paying closer attention to it in the future.

Thanks again

No prob. Try charging the 12v battery to it's max and then try to charge your RX batteries. This should be the problem.

I was thinking maybe you have some sort of resistance in a switch or something, but if it's happening on all batteries, I can't think of anything else besides the 12v battery being low on juice. Doesn't take long for a field charger to drain a 12v batt.

Good luck and let us know your findings.

Default Re: Overcharged Relions

I was charging with my Ion cube up to eight LiIon packs at once like I always do (2 planes) and the lights started flashing. Found out that the battery that I charge off of (my truck battery) was only 600 amps and almost 5 years old and barely started my van. I replaced the old battery with a new 1000 amp battery and can charge 2-3 planes at once.Li Ions and especially A123's need good batteries to charge from. Also bend the tabs out a little on the banana connecters if they are loose, that can make the cube not work.I use the GUI brain. This can give you an idea what is really going on.
