Default Wolverine switch problem

I have a new Wolverine switch which I purchased last year. I was in the midst of installing and testing it today. Everything was fine but one of the plastic charging receptacle was tight and cracked after just a few insertions. Can I replace this myself? Has anyone done it? Where can I get the replacement receptacle? Thanks

I had to also file the two openings for the switches in the cover plate slightly to the left so that the switches can move fully to the left.

I bought a few Wolverine switches at the beginning of this year. They had the same problem with the charging receptacles. I spoke to Fromeco, and they said that there was a batch with this problem. They sent me replacements. These are fine, and all of the recent production Wolverines I have seen work fine. Maybe you got one from an older batch. Call Fromeco, they will replace it.

Mine is more than three months after purchase, but I just opened it today for testing and installation. Will they still cover it? I'm good at soldering and I could probably do the replacement myself if I have the right part, but it's a risk.

My experiences with Fromeco support has always been excellent. Contact them, and explain your situation. I'm sure you will get good results.

I had an email from Mike of Fromeco offering me to replace or repair it. I think I will send it in as I do not want to damage the PCB from soldering.
