For the overseas people viewing this thread - Invercarrrrgill is the home town of the old dude off the movie "worlds fastest indian" I saw it for the first time last night and I'm pretty sure I didn't see any hot chicks on there... the chick in the bank was ok but I could see the sixth finger that they tried to hide!

From what I remember about Invercargill it is too cold to even contemplate getting your kit off so you must be dreaming Sarge, Give yourself a quick slap about the head and let us know if the girls are still there.( It's not hard to take pics of the only presentable girls in the deep South... Just put the magazine down on the bed ).

All jokes aside Invercargill is a great place(to visit) if you dont mind Icebergs.

I saw Moped do the "WALK OF SHAME" ... approx 8am on New Years Day !! (2005 I think).

In breif ... here's the story:

I wake up, emerge from my tent, looking wind swept and interesting, with only a slight touch of a hang over.... with it being new years eve the night before, and having given it plenty of welly, you'd have expected me to have a head like a robbers dog, but it was not too bad .... I suspect someone was switching my beer for some of that Non alcoholic stuff called "Bud". Actually I remember one boat race. Yes North Island vs South Island, and some crazy young guy from Finland too ? Can't remember which Island he was drinking for, but for a change I was on the winning team ! Yeah....
Well at 1:30am some of the boys decided it was time to head into town, I headed for my tent. What a lightweight ! BTW - New Years Eve falls right in the middle of our Nationals, so we do actually have to fly the next day, just not to early.

So next morning, 8am, where is Patrick ? Hmmm, his car is here, but his tent is empty ? Wonder how he got on at the night club last night, he did mention some chick had been text messaging him for the past few days .... ooh, Is that him walking this way, looks like the "Walk of Shame" to me. So finally he drags his sorry arse through the entrance to the camp site, and struts over .... "Bogan, have you got any meths ?" he says to me, with a bit of a sly grin on his face .... "I need a bit of a wash". My reply. "Did she drop you off at the gate" ? ... "nope" he says, "a few K's back up the road at the round about, didn't want any of you pricks to see" .... and as he walked off of towards the shower block, he mumbled under his breath, sounded a bit like "she wasn't THAT big last time I met her" ..... nice one Moped.

So, the nickname has stuck ever since. Mopeds are just like riding fat chicks .... great fun till your mates find out !
