WoW!!! Never had an entire day, from 8am to 3pm, absolutely DEAD CALM!!!!!!!!!!!!  fg57 Flew the QQ Yak, sorted the motor problem    abd proceeded to fly the pants off it to see what it's capable of   What a great model! I've found that flying a larger 3D model is a whole different game to flying a 50 sized 3D model like my Rave 3D. There's momentum and the fact that it takes more effort to get it out of manouvers to deal with. But I'll get there, and it's only improving my flying skills every flight  Went through 3 litres of fuel  ..... All worth it  Here's some pics:

Awesome stuff Alex - but how come you never came out to our aerobatics comp!? We had a great turnout and did a lot of flying, that had to be the best weather we have had in Christchurch ever! |

Yeah sorry mate. I wanted to get the Yak motor running sweet before I entered it in a comp. Plus I had to run a club comp before the AGM   AND I wanted to practise a routine for Omaka
