Haahh, good reply Moped I was talking to Alec about this on the phone the other night. "my extra260" the 2M PBG Extra 260's 3D bloody well, just watch Frazer do a demo with one some time. Have a great comp guys, we might have to follow your lead and organise a 3D event up here. Cheers Alan

So Taylor... You think you can drag a couple of guys up from down south to this aerobatics weekend? It should be a good couple of days. We're planning a bit of a social evening on the Saturday, maybe a BBQ with a few beers (or lightweight beers for you) a bit of foamy carnage and maybe a dvd or two? Bring a tent cos we hear you snore like a tractor!

none of them seem to have the skills to compete. salmonds motors all unreliable. matheson seems to have got old. bates never has time off(traffic cop). apart from richard race, the invercargill lot we never see. seems they dont like to compete. we might have to bribe them with oysters. alex

As of yesterday we had 6 keen as mustard to go down although the change of date caused some teeth grinding. Anyone looking for accomadation I can hook you up with newish shearers quarters about half an hour from the field, cost will be a couple of cans for the owner. Sounds like a good weekend. Pete. |

Sorry about the change of date guys... there's always something this time of year! hopefully most of the christchurch guys are still able to attend. On the plus side you will still be in with a chance to win a prize if you have flown in either a South Island Pattern or IMAC comp over the last 12 months. I've been talking with Jason tonight about the prize list and so far it is sounding pretty sweet... We will have more details closer to the time but Model Airworks will be throwing in a bunch of goodies that will be put to good use for sure. Smart-Fly are also coming to the ball but again we will release more details closer to the time. Spread the word! |

Hi Steve The weight limit only applies to the F3A class in New Zealand (5.0kg), You can fly anything you like in Sportsman and Advanced, you can even fly a quater Scale Piper Cub if you are that way inclined... but you know what we say about people who fly Piper Cubs! |

Aww, come on Moped Anyone flying a Piper Cub should be allowed at least a 20% waiver for weight ![]() ![]()
