I've seen most of the other guys in advanced flying recently and yeah I'd say you need to get in some practice! I saw Alex flying his electric Katana pattern model a couple of weeks ago and it looked to be going very well! (sounded like a flying dust buster but flew pretty good!)

Sweet as. What will probably happen is I will be on the road with Richard Race at about 6am Saturday Morning, will meet you guys at the field and head to the accom after the days flying and night's boozing.

What size Giles it it Alex? ARF?

Sounds like there's going to be a whole bunch of people there, if everyone comes who says they will it is going to be the best turn out in at least 5 years (well as long as I have been involved in RC Aerobatics)

A few guys are talking about starting early with the festivities straight after the pattern comp at the field, if the weather is still good and it is a nice evening we will look at holding the BBQ there and then head up to Jonathan's place a bit later on. They rekon there will be more carnage if we start on the liquid expo at the field. It doesn't get dark till about 9:30pm these days so save the foamy's with lights until then (that way the liquid expo will have well and truly kicked in!)

I will probably look at doing a beer run at the start of the last round of pattern so there will be plenty of chilled beverages ready to go after the last (official) flight of the day.

*remember to drink and drive responsibly, we don't mind you crashing an electric model at full speed while attempting an inverted limbo pass, but we don't want any traffic accidents getting home from the field*

Cheers
Moped
