I will set up the wings on the fuselage before I do any more work on the flying surfaces. I have covered this stuff in Miro F3A thread so I will try for more detail this time. This really simple jig works a treat and I hit the outer hole nearly exactly only the wing holes needed any sanding to fit. The advantage of doing it after bagging is there is no danger of crushing into the hole. I bore the hole with the fibreglass outer tube and leave the carbon tube inside inserted sufficiently to support the outer where I grip it to twist it in. You can see I have taped the rule onto the tube centerline to line everything up.

Here is a false tailpost to hold and lift the rear fuselage so the centerline is level. Now I can set the wings and tail level.

Just had to sort the outer tubes. Have made sure the tube extends 15mm past the outer wing tube support. Cut end blanks with the tube and glued in.

Drilled the stab tube holes with this, and the front hole with a 3mm bit.

So we end up with this. I am adjusting position by enlarging only one side.

There are a number of different measurements to make equal.

That is the worst part for me, I usually spend half an hour checking through all the measurements over and over again to make sure I don't screw it up!
