i used a 16x14 on a saito 220 30% heli last year. i used a garmin 60csx almost 6oz and it came back reading 146mph. there was no diving just flying fast. it was about 7500 on the ground. this year i tried a 16x13 and holy cow what a difference no gps but if i had to guess at least 10-15mph faster. rpm on the ground was 9500rpm. the question i have could i show up to a race with this set up and be aloud to use the 220 saito? thanks. the engine has a bit more in it, as last i checked the lash about .005 on in take and .003 on the exhaust. the sloppy lash helps it to idle with the small props. but it still eats paint rollers on start Last edited by videocruzer; 06-09-2009 at 12:29 PM. |
