| Uber Contributer ![]() | Hay all. It was a great race at Parker and everybody had a good time. There was some close racing and it got exciting. Here are a couple pictures to get you a piece of the action. I haven't had time to do much of anything yet so, soon more will get posted. A huge thanks to all the racers and everybody else there. You all know how to make a photographer feel welcome. Thanks Mike |

| Gone Flyin ![]() | Yup, thats Chip. He did a nice job flying for Bandit racing. He finished four in the F1 Gold race. Other high profile names that have raced with us this year are Peter Goldsmith, Frank Noll, Travis Flynn, Craig Greening, Craig Grunkmeyer, Tim Lime and Randy Ritch. Last year Mike McConville, Robert Vess and QQ joined in. Robert is working on a new design for F1. That will be big trouble for the rest of us. Mithrandir you need to get yourself another ride. After my first race in 97 the hook was set. I sold off all of my Pattern airplanes to go racing. Last edited by Tom K : 11-01-2007 at 10:30 AM. |

| increasing thrust........ ![]() | Tom, Congrats to you and all the championship winners! It looks like you have that DA working well now. Like Mikey said, it's hard to be away from the sport once you've had a taste for it. The plan is for the NC contingent to return next year. And from the looks of the Sundowner class you'll have a bunch of new guys who now have the bug. That's awesome. I'd say Dave Smith and KMac still have things in order, too! Great job and congrats, guys! Give us some more pics.............. |

| Uber Contributer ![]() | Parker was a lot of fun this year. Congrats to the series champs, Mike, Kenny and Tom. These guys put in the hard work and it really paid off. I raced Mike a couple times in GT and couldn't get to him, was close but he has a great airplane/engine combination and the skills to make it work. Kenny's dominance this year was no accident. I'm fortunate enough to be able to build and fly with Ken year round and seeing the effort he puts into racing it's no surprise that he gets the results. And Tom Keating, great job. Designed and built the airplane from scratch, a powerhouse DA150 and solid flying. Well deserved and I love seeing a scratch builder make it all come together like that. Speaking of scratch builders, Fred French raced his Cassutt 'Plumb Crazy' in GT and gave everybody a good run. I'm a sucker for Cassutt's and Fred's was really well done. Now in the hands of Jose Macias. Looking forward to next year, at the very least I'll have a new wing on the Junkyard Dog and hopefully can go a little faster. Craig. |
