Help! T6 PROP

HI NEED INFO ON PROPS, NEED ONE FOR 85 INCH MUSTANG ZENOHA 62 HAVE APC T6 PROP DOES IT NEED ANY THING DOING TO IT FOR RACING .I HAVE BALANCED ITWHAT SORT OF RPM ON THE GROUND .THANKS

I believe a G-62 with a T-6 prop and no muffler was in the high 7's. Good luck. Should be pretty fast. Due to the high pitch on the prop the trick is to get it slowed down for landing, we make our landings dead stick if you have flaps you might be able to do it with the engine at idle but we normaly are power off for landing.

RPM in the air should be 9200-9600....It won't do it with a muffler, especialy the stock one...USRA racers use a 8 inch long straight pipe from Mac's Products.....

ok thanks ,we have to run a muffler to keep the noise down its a big custom muffler with a 25mm inside diameter header pipe i have tached it 7200 on ground it dose go hard in the air cant landit going have to cut it ,thanks for info
