Default USRA West Coast Race

Hey Guys,

Just trying to get everyone up to speed and fired up about the last Giant Scale USRA race of the 2009 year.

Oct 15th - 18th at Rabbit Dry Lake Bed in So Cal near Victorville, Ca. Racing starts on Fri at 9:00.
We are expecting 60-70 planes again this year and for the first time in a long time close to 20 Unlimiteds. Even Bi-Planes are expected this year.
If there is more info needed go to the USRA web site: usrainfo.org , and click on the link for the west coast race venue.

We are also hosting Sat anoon time Car drag complete with a christmas tree starting system with the finals on Sunday noon time just prior to the Gold and Silver trophy Air Races.
I hear there may be a full RC Drag Rail set up with a Bully 75cc gas engine- FASTTTTTTT!!!!

It promises to be a great time for all.

I needed another excuse to go to Cali - looks like I found one! Haven't been to the are races since Madera in like '93-94! Always loved them but couldn't afford them when I was that age...

So, what's the scoop on this??????

Is Rabbit no longer a "dry" lake???? after this rain storm....

Is this thing still on???

I'd like to come up from LA to watch, but if its cancelled, then I'll go fly at Victorville...

Lake bed is dry as a bone.

Racing starts at 9AM sharp. Looks like about 65 entries in 5 classes. Should be an exciting weekend!

I am sorry, who are you two? Do I know you from somewhere? Could you two pick up the pits, or wipe down the plane or something........

God only knows that all your planes would take a couple days to clean. Has a towel or any cleaner ever touched that 260? I think not!!! I am not volunteering for that job!
