| Diving for the Start! ![]() | Hey Ryan.... They usually don't survive the mid airs very well. You will sometimes get away with little or no damage to your radio and engine, but the airframe is usually pretty well messed up. KennyMac |

| I knocked a horse out once. ![]() | YO!! ATTENTION ALL TEAM SPEED DEMON MEMBERS!!!!! Was speaking with Robert Vess at the Masters. Seems he's gunning for 200 with alcohol in F-1!! Even money he'll do it. So happy to have you go fasters here. All the Flying Giant faithful need to do is attend 1 race. The hook sets DEEP! PLEASE don't schedule Parker during Tucson again. Missing everything this year KILLED me!!

| WWW.USRAINFO.ORG ![]() | I have been very lucky with respect to Midairs. Most are not so lucky. Last year I had a midair in the gold at Parker. Prior to the start of the race I got together with Mark Zeal. He was flying a GR7 and it caused the outboard 3 or 4" of one of his wing tips to fold but it stayed attached. During the race I saw him landing out of the corner of my eye. Afterwards I asked him what happend he said he had a mid air and I asked him who with? Much to my suprise he said you! then I asked when and he said before the start of the race. I have no recollection of any even near miss situations. We looked my plane over and it was so ratty any way we didn't see any marks. At home in my shop I did find a little green paint on the belly. This year with my same plane at Rantoul I got together with young Speed Demon Jake Hanbury. That happend during the race. After we landed you could see the chunk taken out of the top of his rudder and I had a little chunck taken out of my wing leading edge. Horizontal Huck Fest!!!! It seems that Stacy, Jakes mom was waiting for me when I got back to the pits. By definition if anybody hits Jake it has to be their fault ![]() Mid airs don't usually fly away. Sparky |
