Heres something for you physics freaks how does a f15 land with one wing??? Like the video says I'm guessing some kind of lifting body effect that kept him in the air?? http://www.darlugo.com/?id=567&hp=1

Bill is the magic man. He was flying an Extra and one wing came off in flight... no prob for Bill. He just put it in knife edge, went around the pattern and brought it in full KE. PIMP |

THE NICE THING OF THE F-15 IS THAT ITS FUSELLAGE ACTS AS A LIFTING BODY . ANOTHER AIRPLANE THAT IS LIKE THAT ARE THE SHORTS THAT THE MILITARY USE FOR CARGO, 35% TO 45% OF THE FUSELAGE OF THE SHORTS THAT THE MILITARY USE FOR CARGO ACTS AS A LIFTING BODY SINCE THE FUSELAGE IS SO WIDE ..... |

OMG That is freakin insane!! I would never have thought it would be done with a full scale! Even if the plane has a 'lifting body' it still takes MAD SKILLS to land on one wing!!!! |
