I am pretty sure that #3 is from a dual approah of aircraft on parellel runways at LAX. Telephoto lens gives the illusion of the planes being closer then they actually are.

#3 shot is just 2 different styles of approachs for that respective aircraft. If the 747 in backround was taking off, it would have a steeper angle for departure. The 757 in fore ground is using a more straight in approach before final flairing before landings.
