Here is the only Information I could find in a quick search.

From Wikipedia

The Extra 330 is a custom development of the 300S with a wider-chord rudder, a larger elevator, and a more powerful Lycoming AEIO-580 powerplant producing 330 hp (246 kW).

It is also mentioned on this page. http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=209

I cant bring myself to use wikapedia since their info is so unreliable. I saw those also, but if there was such a plane there would be more info on it right? The extra 330 has been a plane in the imac world for so long it would have to be a full scale plane since at least 2002 so there should be more info about it i would think.

AFAIK the Extra 330 has never been an official Extra type. It was a custom done for one customer. The 330 refers to the more powerful engine, the X refers to the larger control surfaces.

It's real, but not official. In the modeling world Extra 330 means nothing.

The EXTRA 260 was a "one of" aircraft for Patty Wagstaff. The full size is displayed in the Smithsonion...

Four sounds right. Patty's is in the Smithsonian and I know that there is still one out there because I have photos of it, don't know where the other two went, maybe airplane heaven.

I agree, Walter Extra built the only one 260 out of spare parts etc. he had laying around as a "single" proto type for the 300 which was the next plane he built. The 260 was never in "production" although a few "copies" were made, (way way later). He gave Patty the plans for the plane hand drawn on a napkin.
