Good luck on it! Everyone else has given you some really good advice. There's really nothing else to add, except triple check your required amounts of flight time. I knew a guy who was just a few tenths short of having the right amount of cross country time. Both he and the instructor didn't catch it until the day before the checkride.

I remember my PVT checkride back in October 1984. Well now 22.5 years later and I have to take one a year for my job and I still dread them. My point is, go in and just do what you are asked to do. Do not try to impress, just do your best, trust me the examiner has seen it all. Best of luck, Jeff

| I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As of right now I am the HAPPIEST person in this world!! Thanks for all the tips! It was a breeze. My lost procedure went MY way! Previous to my checkride my instructor said.." I have a feeling that she will divert you here." and sure enough I came out from under the hood I looked over my shoulder and about 10 miles away there it was. I was so relieved! after that It just got better. I have officially joined the inner circle! BOO_YAAA A.J. |
