Its a South African airframe.

Actually, to be exact, its a cross between a composite Lazer and an Extra 230.

I'm sure this one will be modeled soon...

The 360 maybe a crossover but the one at Osh was a strait up edge. *It was just smaller and made of epoxy and strings

But the wings have some sweep on the leading edge. Not flat like the original Edge.

There is definitely some Edge inspiration in that design. It is not a copy though. Well maybe the vertical stabilizer. It is a good looking airplane.

I would like to know how their power to weight ratio is better than an Edge. Their claimed weight on their site is 1110 with a 4 cylinder 360. The last Edge we completed was 1178 with a 6 cylinder 540. Thats 50% more cubic inches for 6% more weight.

Yea man.. I'm sorry... I love Extras and Yaks and all, but for full scale planes the Edge is just way more BAD ASS. The cowl, the aggressive look, the performance. If I ever come across a few million to retire early, get my private ticket and buy a plane , and Edge it will be!

The 540 looks better than the 360 for sure. the manual shows a three view and both have tapered LE.

I don't know, I really like the looks of the Slick. There is a lot of edge in there but I do like the 260's wing. Something about the straight edge wing never looked right to my eye. It sure FLYS right though!
