Seeing that makes you think that in all actuality, full scale helicopters could really be set up to fly 3D like the model helis (albeit, not to the same extent). In the full scale airplane world, power to weight ratios and wing loading are not even close to achieving what the fixed wing models can do. Full scale helicopters could be relatively easy to make the rotors go into negative pitch, so to hover inverted should be acheivable. Inverted tanks and oil systems are readily available. Surprised someone hasn't tried this yet.
