 |  My ride to the RENO AIR RACES!!!
Thought I would share some pics of my ride to the 07 Reno Air Races Sep 12th - 16th. I get to do some hucking from the back seat of Cliff Magee's L-39(Violated) from Tulsa to Reno next Friday....

Ok Im jealous!! God I wish I could go this year - already spent my vacation time in Loiusville ky visting family - got a sabbatical coming up in 2009 will have to go then... My favorite is Voodoo - I just wish he could get a good motor like Dago or Strega... I know - but I just love the paint job on Voodoo! Ronster |

Voodoo is an awesome airplane, and was very capable when Curt Brown was at the helm. Funny story, We sometimes have a model or two at the show and run the engines up in the L39 pit area. It brings people from all around. Curt Brown (astronaut) WOULD NOT take us up on an offer to go RC flying because he knew how hard it was to fly RC.

We are making new wing tips for the plane and leaving the tip tanks off this year. We are making the wingtips just like a fiberglass cowl. carve out the foam and lay it up. Great for increased speed, but not great for ferrying the plane over a great distance. Included some pics of the plane with new sponsorship decals we put on yesterday.
