Default Awesome Experimental Twin Jet

cri_cri_7_gallery.jpg
http://www.amtjets.com/gallery_real_plain.html
I built a couple Experimental Aircraft in the past and was just doing a search for my next project and found this. I found my next Project..

Ain't she Sweet

Forrest

Noted French pilot Nicolas Charmont has installed 2 AMT Olympus
turbines in his Cri Cri together with AMT on-board automatic
start-up units and individual EDT's.
The Cri Cri weighs 170 Kg, and should have enhanced
performance withover 36 Kg of thrust available.
The Cri Cri has made his maiden flight in the weekeind of 7-8 March.
Top speed at this flight was 240 km/hour (150 mph). Flying with
only one engine the speed is still 160 km/hour (100mph).

It's not Max, here's the website: http://flight.cz/cricri/english/cri-...s-unsorted.php. Looks like a pretty sweet machine to me! Probably weighs less than the Staudacher, too!

Max,
It's for real! A guy in South Texas has one on it's gear and I've sat in the fuse. I'm 6'4'' and the canopy is about a inch above my head.... No aerobatics for me or I'd get your basic Excedrine headache #101 from bashing my head into the canopy! I've also seen the pics of the jet version with the AMT's on it but no video. Google "Cri-Cri" and you'll get some info on it. It seems the guy that created this flying go cart isn't offering much in the way of support but every once in a while someone will sell a project. There are a few of them flying in Europe and England. I figure if you'd put some 8711's on the surfaces you could fly in to a fly-in...... Get out and fly it via radio control...... and then get back in and fly home! LOL!
