Here is a pic of Flight System's next generation target tower, the A-4. See the Dart out on the l. wing?

awsome project, question. we race offshore powerboats and often need to remove the paint and zink cromate from the lower units. those are mfg from aluim as well. we used peelaway. they are using this on bridges and water tanks around the world. was that a thought befor the stripper you are using?

Here's some more pics for y'all:

Starting on the vertical stab. See the old Tracor Flight Systems lettering and logo poking through? Looks like they just rattle-canned over that area, it peeled up pretty quick.

Notice the South African flag?

Tail is pretty much done.

The elevators looked brand new when we got the paint off of them, thankfully no allodyne etching, that means polishing will be a LOT easier on them.

Tiny bubbles...

Making progress up the sides of the fuse.

We hope to have the fuse done in the next couple of days.

As far as the scheme goes, it looks like we've settled on one, I'm gonna go ahead had keep it under my hat until it's official...and done. It will be military,it will be sweet, and it involves a LOT of polishing.

Later!
