Default COOL Full Scale 3D

Hey guys,

I found this quick video of the pilot Sergei Boryak tearing it up in his Sukhoi....

I guess that would classify as an inverted elevator!

I saw a Sukhoi pilot do that at an airshow back in 1990 in Greenville Mississippi at just about the same altitude. Must be something about that engine that allows them to do that because I've never heard of anyone doing that in anything other than a Sukhoi.

Also saw a Sukhoi doing a slow stall "High Alpha Rolling Harrier" RIGHT ON THE DECK!!! back around the same time at the U.S. Nationals, ... when there wasn't even anything such as a rolling harrier!!!. I didn't know what I was witnessing ... but I was pretty sure that guy would be in a CNN news reel soon!

It's the 800-1000 psi air start in that Russian radial that lets him restart so easy. With the cylinders cleared of oil and fuel build-up and being a warm motor, you can pretty much count on a re-start. The "clank-clank" factor REALLY comes into play being as low as he was!!
