Real World Tail Rotor Failure and landing

Gents,

I have seen Richard (Hannibal) fly at a lot of air shows in full size helis and he is just bloody amazing to watch.

Well follow this link and see how he got a Robinson R44 back down with no tail rotor, walked away and then went and rescued 10 french sailors 80 miles out to sea an hour or so later.

I would hate to guess how many hours he has now but it is way over 20,000 for sure.

This guys a bloody hero.

Too bad there is no video of the incident, obviously he is very good.
