May 31 and June 1 they are in Detroit. Our oldest son has already gotten tickets for himself, his dad and brother. They are planning on a "boys weekend" and sounds like they will have fun.
Oh and by the way....this just happens to be my "29 wedding anniversary" so ya know...I must love all 3 of my guys to let them go do this.

I live a few hours away and was considering going. I have never been before, but they look like fun. I was a little worried that it would be hard to see them and I might be better off watching them on tv. What do you guys think....is it worth it to see in person?

It is totally worth the trip down from LA, the sound and feeling as they rip past is amazing. I do not even buy embarcadero tickets, I bring the miss's to Sea Port Village have lunch and sit on the bay wall and watch at the starting line. When she gets bored off she goes shopping as I sit and drool like a little kid. Get there early it gets packed down in the area.

Has anybody been to one of these? My wife wants to go bad! So, I think we'll burn some airmiles up to go to the Detroit show. Can somebody tell me about the tickets? I saw some for $400 a day down to $15 general admission. Can the $15 seats see much of the course/show? Man, their VIP tix are huge money!

The 400.00 doller ticket's get's you full service all you can eat and drink with great viewing, and in some citys flight line access the 15.00 tickets get you good view no food or drink.

As long as we can see most of the course and the planes in flight... thanks for the help.
