Hey All, This past Saturday I went to the Joint Service Open House Airshow at Andrews Airforce Base. I took along a young man that I mentor. He had never seen jets (or any aerobatic planes) fly and we had a great day. Here are some pics from the day- -Brad |

Are those flaps on the first pic of Sean Tucker's new Challenger? They are inboard of the ailerons. Are they flaps or secondary ailerons. Interesting, I have never seen anything like that before on a bipe. Travis |

Travis, He has 8 ailerons on the biplane..which is a one of a kind design. I can't explain the mechanics behind it but fortunately I found this clip: |

He was the same way in person..very nice and cordial...and certainly not uptight. Obviously he's got a passion for what he does. Entusiasm like that is contagious and inspiring IMO. I told him I liked the torque roll he did in his routine and asked if we'd see a rolling harrier anytime soon..he looked back at his plane while smiling and said he needed just a little more power. I'm sure that will happen sooner than later. |

Always great to watch Sean do his thing. In this poorly shot video is his harrier. I missed his tourqe roll, he sure looked like he was in a dead hover Last edited by learnedinuk; 05-21-2008 at 07:16 AM. |

He definetly is cool! A buddy of mine gets a press pass every year up at Oshkosh. A couple of years ago he was invited to take in air shots of Sean's plane. Very cool stuff. Jay |

Great pics! I was there last year for a couple of days as an exhibitor, man that was an phenomenal airshow! Unnfortunately it cut into Joe Nall time, so I wasn't able to make it back this year - its a shame both events happen at the same time!
