At that angle, might as well jump out.

"Vermeiren said the pilot told rescue authorities he heard a loud noise while trying to take off, after which he tried to land the plane. Airport officials said it was not clear what had caused the crash. Local news organizations speculated that a tire could have blown during takeoff or the engines could have failed.
Experts planned to examine the aircraft and remove the plane's cockpit voice recorder, or "black box," to find out what caused the crash, officials said."

pilot:"Oh that's what that noise was. I dropped my beer. I'm going to set it back down, you hit the brakes, I'll go grab a fresh one."

co-pilot: "Since you're up.........."

Sounds like a super forced landing and the guy rotated and slammed it back on the ground after he heard a noise.

Maybe they had some "slap ya mama" crawfish for crew meals and a few Leffes couldn't wash 'em down. I'm only kidding, pilots would never drink and fly. Bossier Bob and crew, thanks again for the awesome mud bugs at the Nall, I ate as many as I could and we still ended up helping you dump quite a few pounds in the trash.

I would hate to think that a crew at this stage in their career would make a decision like that after V1.

Yep, that's Connie Kalitta's airplane, I have seen it sitting on the ground in Dubai when I transit through there, looked better the last time I saw it
