Of all the YA-19, V-11, V-12 and V1s, there is only one left and it is in flying condition. It has not flown since 1986 because of its historical value. It is a V1-AD and has an 8 place luxury cabin that was heated, but not pressurized.

It has flush rivets and is of all aluminum construction. Oddly enough, the ailerons and elevators are fabric covered. It would do 236 mph in level flight with a Wright 1820 of about 960 hp. The NACA cowl was partly responsible for the high speed.

Hey Klank, it was pretty common to have fabric covered control surfaces on airplanes of that era. Just like this one.
