Default My First Aerobatic Flight...

So I went up today in a Decathlon that Embry-Riddle owns for their Upset Training Course that they offer. It was a discovery flight to see if we were interested in taking the full course. It was a lot of fun, but gosh I would hate to be in a RC airplane now. We did a couple of rolls, loops, and hammerheads. After that I was getting a lil sick! lol I hope to go up again sometime so I can at least get my body use to everything. Had a lot of fun. It was great to fly something else instead of that 172!

I tell my backseaters to tuck their shirt in really good. If you're gonna barf, do it down your shirt!
What made you feel like ass? The visual? Rotations? 'G's ? Or all of the above. It takes a while to get comfortable floping around, it also helps if YOU are the one stiring the stick. Good luck with that, and keep us posted.

Kevin, I used to teach an Upset training course for the airlines and don't feel back, most of the guys didn't last 10 minutes once the uabnormal rotations and G's(max of 4) started. Surprisingly the woman pilots generally lasted a little longer than the guys, especially the first time inverted. I always made sure there was a good supply of barf bags.
