They are required to wear parachutes when performing aerobatics. (in the United States anyway)

G's... tough stuff. A few years back up a Daniel Webster College in NH, I got a couple of intro flights in their Cap 10Bs. After a few positive snaps, spins, and a bunch of hammerheads and rolls... I could barely walk when I got back down. All the energy to keep myself from passing out, not to mention trying to keep my lunch down... Positive I can handle for a little bit, negative g's dont take me much to get me crying to land.

Is tollerating G forces something you can become better at like lifting weights to where you can build up so you can take more G forces?

What amazes me are the Red Bull Race guys. They are sustaining 10 plus for long periods of time. Peter Besenyei hit 13.9 in one of the races.

I have been done some tumbling maneuvers with Kirby Chambliss in an Edge 540T. We went out for about 10 minutes. He suggested we head back and I was like I feel fine let's do some more. His experience over ruled me. When I climbed out of the plane I about collapsed my legs were so wobbly. He just smiled and said, "A little bit of vomit can ruin an entire flight."

I walked around with a crooked stiff neck and a smile on my face for a week.

It's a good thing they wear Parachutes, or Shawn Tucker wouldn't be with us today

Jim LeRoy will eat that guy without salt in the air. Jim throws a plane around like nobody, including Tucker.

By FAA reg, all aerobatic flight is required to wear a parachute (spins can be accomplished without them). As far as I know us military guys are only wearing the G suits. The G suit will help you take about another 1G on top of your normal tolerance, but for me it doesnt help me except that when it starts to inflate it is telling me I need go get on my G-strain if I forgot to do so due to other task saturations. It is best to keep in good cardio shape, and good weight lifting regime for constantly pulling Gs all the time, emphasizing on legs, abs and butt. If you go a couple weeks or longer without pulling Gs, you will have to build up a tolerance to it again, but comes back quickly.
