I watched you at The Cleveland National Airshow in sept 05, wished you were there this year. Love the tumbles!

Hey Matt It looked like one of your maneuvers was part of a rolling circle. How did that feel?

Try as I might I could not see Matt's Orange and Black Team Futaba shirt.

I plan to immediately contact Frank Noll and request that we change the Team colors to an electric Fuschia and Yellow combination. Almost match the plane!!

All I can say is you gotta have your eyes closed for that kind of flying!!!!

Judge,
man, you have good eyes. I have a special waiver granted through Futaba Japan, Hobbico and yes, even Frank Noll. When seated in the CAP 580 I am allowed to wear the yellow flight suit and remove the orange and black TEAM shirt. I don;t think anyone at Futaba wanted this getting out, but since no one will see this I'll let you in on a corprate secret. I am bound by contract to always wear my special, custom made, silk orange and black Futaba "Y" fronts. Not to create any problems, but when you fly in silk Futaba boxers...you really can feel the differance!
Oh...did I just say that?

I told the pilot I flew the giant scale RC planes and asked him to show me how it would feel if I where in the cockpit of my RC plane.
That was possibly the STUPIDEST thing that ever came out of my mouth.
I spent the next 5 minuets 100% disorientated. Don't know how you guys do it Matt.
Good thing I didnt eat breakfast that day.

Hey Matt, You could a full scale Plane Wrapper for your Cap.

Man I was scared there for a split second while the video was coming up on my screen, I thought it was one of those videos Jeeum tricks us into watching, the one where you wish you never watched it. This was not the case.

Nice flying Matt, I love CAP's. I have the utmost respect for you getting inside [a real] one and throwing it around.

Funny you say that!
I sent in a question on the Plane Wrappers web sight to see if theye would be interested in looking into doing one for the full scale CAP for next season. I don;t know if it would be practical, but it would be cool if doable. I haven't heard anything back, so i guessed they were not interested in working with me on the project. I bet once I had one done, you might get more full scale work from CAP, Edge and Extra owners
If the powers that be are reading this and interested, let me know!

That was incredible flying. The Rolls at the end of the video looked like your airspeed was really slow.....almost like rolling harriers!
What are the defection angles on your rudder and elevator?
