Here's a unique video shot from a camera mounted on the side of Mike Mancuso's helmet as he Matt fly their formation aerobatic routine at Sun N Fun, FL. Wish the video quality was as good as Fred's at Higher Plane....but still well worth the time. Turn your volume up and sit back for an awesome ride .

Matt,

It's great surf'in the web finding videos of you, Sean, Patty, Jim (RIP)...hell, all of you.

My wife and I just recently moved to Lewes, DE...anytime you want to come down here to the beaches or outlets, give me a holler and we'll do dinner or something.

Take care, be safe.

Jon

That was very cool.. Nice bit of insight into how the illusion of formation flight is done.

Hi Guys,

I found some classic Matt before the Cap. Funny I never took him for the Snapple type. Matt is the last featured pilot in the video.

Snapple! Made from the good stuff!

God, i look so skinny and young. Wait....I was.

Brings back memories. I almost tossed that Snapple on the way back to the airport. We did that shot 3 or 4 times. That was one hell of a plane. Bubba ended up doing that lazer in 1/3 scale in my Re/Max design. the good old days!

Those negitive "G" SUCK!!! I got wise and don;t do that S*&T anymore. I was doing some serious pushing in those days. My routine was 50 to 60% outside...why...I have no idea other than I thought it would get me noticed. NOT.
Now at a ripe old age of 47 I'm doing a nice 95% positive "G" show and it's funny....I'm booking all the shows I want!
An FYI...when I competed in WAC 98' in Slovakia...I would train 3 flights a day with pulls and pushes to 8.5 "G"s with about 12 to 15 pushes per flight! What was I thinking? You think I would have suffered some sort of brain damamananage or something!
