I put 3 +12V sets on my first one along with 3 +5V sets. No reason for the 3 5V pairs except I had the wires, so why not.

well i got a 430 watt ps today and wired it just like the thread says to do and it fired right up.12.36 volts and 4.99 on the five volt plug and then nothing.won't fire up no matter what i do.don't know but what a waste if i can't figure it out.green to black don't do anything.it is a antec earthwatts ps/how do i tell which is post number 11 on the main plug.if i understand it right these are what i tie together right ?

WELL I GOT IT GOIN.just so you might have the same problem it was the purple wire,not a red wire to the resistor.i got to thinkin,it takes 5 volts to the resistor to get the ps to fire up,so one of the wires has to show 5 volts even if the ps isn't running so i took a volts meter and turned on the power and found any wire that showed voltage,hooked it up to the resistor and pow it fired right up.5 volts on one stage and 12.22 on three more,oh boy now if kurt will hurry up with my charger.hope this helps as i was about to giveup

Where the wires split into like 30 other connectors....I just cut it right off at the first plug right? I see I got the ShortBus version. The fan speed adjust thing and the H>L are upside down. LOL

The just cut all the wires at the plugs and shorten them to your liking.
