Cracky, it went from 12.2V with a single 10ohm 10W resistor to 12.75V with the double 1ohm 10W resistors. I found this mod on the net while surfing around, so I just followed their instructions. I'm sure someone with more knowlege can explain why it increases voltage. I don't know why because I don't know crap about electronics. I just wanted to know the time, not how the clock was made.

mike i just did this mod to mine and it went from 12.12 volts to 12.61 volts.it really does work.thanks again dick,i mean heydick lol
