Default NEW Extra 260 XP Electric

Today I got in the TMPRO Extra 260 XP Electric airplane. Here are a couple of specs:

Wingspan: 44.5"
Length: 43"
Wing Area: 380 Sq. In.
Motor: 450 Outrunner or 0.15 Glow 2-stroke
Radio: 4 Ch + 4 servos (16g)

The package I got comes with motor, speed controller and 1800 11.1 lipo pack.

Features:
Removable Wing
Wheelpants
Magnet Canopy
Glow and electric motor mount
Removable motor mount
Sliding wings for your type flying.
3D and IMAC flying performance

Here are some pictures of it out of the box. I would like to say that UPS didnt do a good job handling it. The box came in today crushed a little and only thing wrong was the fuse. Luckily it is not bad. Just two pieces I need to fix and need to fix the covering some with a heat gun.

One of the nicest features is there are screws holding the extended motor mount. There are two mounts. One for electric and the other for a .15 glow motor. They made it so you can change out glow or electric easily just by taking four screws out. So you can fly electric or glow at the field. I know many will not use glow but it is a nice feature to be able to use both.

Heres a update! Today I got the tail feathers on and also got the landing gear and motor mounted. It came with wheelpants but I decided not to use them.

As you can see the motor mount screws on so you can change out from electric to gas motor mount.

The wings slide together on a wingtube and are held by a thumb screw which you tighten by hand. As you notice in the pictures you can slide the week forward or back to set it the way you want it to fly.

Will have final pictures up by end of this week. Hope to test fly it this weekend. So far everything is going together great. Will have a introduction video of the plane as soon as I finish it. It will explain about the airplane and the features it has.

Nice. I like those because they assemble pretty easy and I've heard those are lots of fun. So we need videos.
