Default DW Yak JR.

I will be getting one of these in the mail one day. I ordered it last week. Today I got in some goodies from 2 DogRC's Warehouse. Got in a small 10 gram brushless motor with two props and speed controller. Also a 330mah 2 cell battery. It was very FAST shipping. Will post photos of the build when I begin. Anyone else running a sim. setup???

what type of stuff you need to paint a foamy. When I was VERY young like 7 or so I was trying to paint my AirHog spare wing which was white a color and used regular spray paint lol. It melted lol.

Krylon Shortcuts, Krylon H2O, Testors or Tamya spray paints. You have to use a foam safe paint or the solvents in regular spray paints will eat the foam (as you found out). Many of them contain acetone like regular Krylon.

Just got done putting in servos and hook up all linkages. Just need to put motor and speed controller in and should be ready to program and go.

You should be around 3 oz RTF if you want it to fly nice. I built mine at about 4 oz and it was too heavy. You have to try the BAF Yak...... Awesome plane.

hmm I have the killer bee motor on there from 2dogrc and it does not have enough power to hover. It will fly the plane but not hover at all. I am running a 7 3 prop and 2 cell lip battery 300mah
