| Was that a left or right roll? ![]() |
I've been flying mine with neither due to the fast-paced nature of my freestyle. I've also flown the plane with SFG's and brakes and it flies very well, just differently. I'm used to the rudder feel of a plane without the SFG's and a plane without much drag, so the Blender without accessories is what i'm used to. My AUW is about 125 grams I believe. There's a lot of weight reduction I could do, and the printing does add weight, but I like the power and weight since it's my freestyle plane. Keep in mind it is also milled, so stock planes won't likely come in that light. RJ

No problem, and thanks! I'll put pics up of the Blender fleet that goes with me. RJ

I took my blender to our last gym night for the winter this past wednesday... We had so much fun just thrashing the foam around! Here is a video from that night.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEolh...or_Videos.html

I'm thinking of picking one of these up and going with a set up for outdoor flying. It'll be a little heavier, but I think it'll still fly good. So, my next question is how durable is this airplane? I don't want to buy it and all the stuff I need for but then be fixing or buying new airframes because they're so fragile. |

Sounds like there is play in the control linkage, or maybe a bad servo. I have had this happen in both cases. If the servo has any backlash at all it is most likely your problem. What servos are you using? I move the control surface lightly by hand and make sure that all horns have no play at all, especially with cheaper servos. Hope this helps.... I have this plane and am using Dymond D47s with no flutter/vibration. Good Luck John |

This is a sorta common problem. It stems mainly from slop in the linkage, probably in the fit between the control arms and the z-bends in them. Try tightening those up with thin CA and see if it helps. RJ

yeah, I was thinking of just going with the combo package since it's all the recommended gear, should that fly it just as good as all of the other crap that you guys bought seperately and put in it? Thanks
