well I finnaly got to weigh her RTF. between 2/10th and 3/10th of a pound and if my math is correct that is between 3.2oz and 4.8oz it seemed to be right in the middle of the two on the scale so im gonna say about 4.0oz to 4.2oz RTF

im also thinking of shotening the servo wires and getting rid of the adapter between the ESC and rx, and just putting on micro JST's like the servos. also in the future i'll replace the E-Flite ESC with a Castle Creation 10 and drop about 2 more grams. i think with all this i should be able to get it down to 4.0oz or slightly lower.

but first i have to maiden her. was supposed to do it tonight but the ice rink i fly in is being redone so im gonna try to find another indoor site like a local rec center or warehouse.

well i put 5 batteries through it this mourning and im in the process of getting the CG right and the mixes in before i go indoors.

hey im only getting 3-3.5min max out of these packs(Flightpower 2S 350Mah) with this setup. does that seem right? this is my first indoor foamie, so im not really used to these small packs.

Wow, what a great flying plane. Very strong for this type of plane, so it's a great plane to pass around the TX with. The only problem is the elevator has that wobble thing, and all my controls are good and tight.

I have mine set up with 2 x d4.7-s servos on the tail and 2 d4.7 servos on the ailerons, thunder bird 9 ESC, caseless berg 7 RX (cut the weight in half ), an evo 400mah battery, and an axi 2203/46 with a gws 8x4 DD prop.

Mine came in at exactly 6 OZ but cause I bought it for outdoors it's fine.

I'm getting 6 1/2 minutes on a 400 mah pack with a minute to spare.

I should be able to post pics and a vid in the next week or so if anyone wants.

I am running the same setup on my Enticement at 5.5 oz AUW and with the same flightpowers I am getting a good 5-7 minute flights. I am running D47's. I dont think those servos would cause that much difference. Remember, if your packs are brand new they wont run peak performance until a couple of charges......

I think some of it could possibly be the drag produced by the bipe. If you have the airbrakes on and the aileron sfg's it will be come really draggy.

yes i know that but when i put them on the charger i was putting 250-300mah back in.

I took the SFG's off but i till have the brakes on. it does make sense, the more drag you have the higher throttle you need to fly. ill take them off too, but its to windy here to fly with hurricane IKE due south of me. and my normal site is closed for remodeling. im gonna try a local rec center and see if they'll let me fly.

I understand, But I found that the first few charges on a lipo, especially these smaller packs, tend to only give partial discharge potential !!!! IMHO..... Just a thought and Like Andrew said the brakes do add alot of drag to slow her down and ultimately pull more amps doing it!! Good luck !
