stuck on the retracts. one side works great, but the other side keeps braking the servo horn. they are the heavy duty ones from dubro. cant seem to figure it out. those jr 791 servos are some powerfull suckers.

Man that is some gooood lookin' plane. I'm really into giant scale aerobatics, but this plane has had my eye for some time now. Can't wait to hear how it flys. Is the 38cc to 40cc the biggest that it recommends. Could you put a 50cc in it do ya' think.

Anyway, great job. It should be a crowd pleaser.

Shawn

yes you could put a 50 cc in it easy. this is a 46 cc and it fits perfect. the instructions say 23cc but, for the weight i dont think it would do the job. it goes as low as a 120 4 stroke. this should be around 17 to 20 pounds so that small of motor i dont think would fly it as well. this plane is only going to go so fast nomatter what motor you put in it. but i do think the power is needed. the frame is strong enough. its very beefy. it also calls for up to a 2.10 2 stroke which is about as powerfull as a 50 cc gas. and i think the weight would be about the same. and i too think it is a eye catcher. hangar 9 did a great job with this one

Definitley, yes. I think it's written in the AMA rules somewhere that warbirds need to have pilots installed.

Very cool! You will love it! Nothing liek overpowering a war bird. I have the Top Flite P 51 with a 3W 75 in it, and it screams! It sure is fun being able to mix it all up.
