Hi Crew! Okay, we're gonna give this a try. Due to somewhat popular demand, we have created this forum for folks to discuss everything related to scale model airplanes, whatever they may be. Please use it in any way you like. Show off your stuff, technique, and general scale discussions. Demand for this forum came from a poll in the following thread: http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/s...d.php?p=124460 If you like the concept, please send all praise and glory to madmax@flyinggiants.com. Conversley, please feel free to send all hate maill to mattchapman@flyinggiants.com. Thank you & enjoy! MD

Flyin woodbutcher : I have a Composite-ARF Mustang too, it's still in the box but I want to build it asap. About the engines..... I`m in the middle of a dilemma, one option is a ZDZ 100 inline a the second option is a ZDZ 80 single with a drive reduction. The ZDZ 100 is easy to install, you only have to make a good buffler so you get enough air to refrigerate both cylinders, tons of power a low vibration. ZDZ 80 with reduction is nice because you can use a scale 4 blade prop giving a super scale look to the airplane. If you want I can send you pictures of the reduction drive. Let me know Fernando Viollier www.giantscaleaviation.com |
